More About Me!

Hello!

I am Sophie Fitz, a freelance illustrator and graphic designer based in Central Maine. I graduated from the University of Maine in 2025 with a degree in Studio Art and Graphic Design, and my current work is divided between these two areas of interest.

My graphic design work serves best for these company types: outdoor brands, local bands and musicians, scientific laboratories, and for-good companies.

My illustrative traditional art primarily focuses on these subject matters: serene landscapes, botanical studies, woodsy scenes, adventurecore, dark fantasy, medieval woodcarvings, celestial bodies, and animal companions (both real and fictional).

When not designing, you can find me somewhere in the mountains no matter the season, whether it be hiking, backpacking, or skiing! While out there, I am gaining inspiration for my work which I aim to tie to the natural world in every whimsical way that I can!

While I continue this artistic endeavor, my goals in the near future include starting a Patreon, running an online shop, selling wholesale materials to stockists, and attending occasional art markets and fairs all while continuing to support the many local brands I have had the privilege to work with in the past.
